Yoga has become more and more common place in the fighting scene, modern sport and sport science has helped this growth in recent years.
Phuket Top Team has Yoga available on appointment and will also implement 2 mornings a week of class times available to students.
Yoga can help give the flexibility needed for mauy thai kicks, grappling techniques and more. Yoga is said to create “elastic steel” in a fighter. Along with this elastic steel strength Yoga builds a very strong core / abdominal strength.
A further advantage to Yoga is the mental aspect, combative sports are draining physically and mentally. Yoga gives students the chance to chill out and put focus to the inside of the body and the mind.
