Phuket Top Team went 7 from 7 pro MMA fights inside Thailand this past weekend.
With 5 fighters in DARE - Rebels Of MMA event in Bangkok & 2 fighters in the Cage Wars event in Pattaya.
First we had flyweight figther Aden Baron improve his record to 2-0 as a pro MMA fighter with a submission win over Team Quest Chian Mai fighter Tim Kist .
Following up was Andres Da Forno winning his pro MMA debut also with a nice submission win!
2 young talented fighters doing work in Cage Wars in Pattaya.
On the back of two nice submission wins in Cage Wars, PTT then took a squad of 5 fighters to the huge Bangkok - Thailand show, DARE - Rebels Of MMA event.
First up was Russian fighter Asker Baragunov who took on the previously undefeated Team Lakay fighter 3-0 Stephen Loman .
The PTT / Fight Nights fighter wasted no time with a hard sharp right hand knockout punch that shocked the crowd.
Following up on the KO win was PTT's Brad Terrey who also wasted no time in bringing the fight to his opponent, dropping him with punches and finishing with heavy GnP for the TKO win.
Next up was Russian fighter Rasul Mirzaev who took on the tough Tiger muay Thai/AVT fighter James Saville . Rasul was caught early in a submission attempt, after freeing himself he turned on the kicks, punches, knees, elbows and soccer kicks through 3 rounds of control and pain. For the Unanimous Decision win in what was an absolute war to watch.
Following Rasul was fellow team-mate & Russian import Murad Machaev.
Murad took on former Tiger muay Thai team fighter Gokhan Turkyilmaz.
Murad took full control early and worked his way to dominant GnP and eventually a deep RNC submission.
(Post fight talks saw Gokhan make the move to join Phuket Top Team as a team fighter, we wish Gokhan all the best in future fights. With the team, coaches and new gym behind him we are confident in his success in the future)
Last fight on the card for PTT saw Moise Rimbon (normally a LHW 92kg fighter) take on the huge 120kg undefeated Russian (4-0) Alexander Gladkov. Moise defended takedown attempts early to eventually wear away the big Russian with leg kicks, head kicks, spinning kicks and pin point striking. Rnd 3 saw Moise land heavy head kicks and eventually a hard liver shot that caused the KO victory.
Wrapping up a collection of 7 fights with 7 wins.
3 knockouts, 3 submission and 1 Unanimous Decision win that was Fight Of The Night.
